Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to low‐income student‐parents to help them obtain their educational goals.
Student‐parents that meet the eligibility and program requirements may be awarded up to 75%‐95% funding towards their out of pocket childcare expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
Be a current Madison College student enrolled in at least six credits
Be Pell Grant Eligible
Have at least one child enrolled with the Early Learning Campus
Apply for outside funding (WI Shares, City of Madison, etc.)
Eligibility in these programs is NOT a requirement
Complete a Household Size Income Statement form annually
Program Requirements
Maintain enrollment in at least six credits
Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher
Pay monthly co‐pay/parent‐share, in accordance with the Center payment policies
Complete an Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ‐3), for the enrolled child(ren)
Attend at least one parent meeting/training or parent/child activity
Complete at least one Financial Literacy module (Wolfie's Wallet)
Update academic enrollment status each semester, including schedule of classes
Volunteer in the Early Learning Campus (2 hours per semester)
Attend parent‐teacher conferences (1 conference per semester)
Complete an evaluation of the Early Learning Campus program and the impact of CCAMPIS funding (each semester)
